This is a rapidly evolving scientific area, and Citoxlab aims to provide you with up-to-date advice on the non-clinical development of hormones and biologicals, based on our strong experience in the non-clinical development of monoclonal antibodies, ADC’s, r-proteins and others.

We offer access to a broad range of animal models, including a large capacity for non-human primates (cynomolgus and rhesus monkeys). Established techniques are available for intravenous, infusion and other parenteral administration techniques. We offer solutions for the integration of safety pharmacology endpoints (cardiovascular, respiratory, CNS) in toxicology studies, using jacketed external telemetry, thus avoiding the need for stand-alone studies.

Studies with biologicals are supported by immunology services including FACS analyses, ELISA and IHC. Product specific ELISA assays are developed for toxicokinetics and for the quantification of ADA responses, as well as monoplex and multiplex biomarker analyses. A custom-built laboratory at our Atlanbio site performs cell-based assays for the determination of neutralizing properties of ADA’s (nAbs).

We perform tissue cross reactivity studies in human and preclinical laboratory animal species (FDA and EMEA tissue list). Our capacity for immunohistochemistry has recently been expanded by the purchase of Vantana autostainers.
