Single and multi-generation studies
Citoxlab – Your one-stop CRO for Developmental and Reproductive Toxicology
For ubiquitous compounds, such as agrochemicals, food additives and industrial chemicals, it may be necessary to evaluate long term effects on the reproductive performance of future generations. In some cases no treatment‑related effects are observed in the F0 generation, but effects on F1 generation development, such as retarded sexual maturity, endocrine disruption and modified hepatic metabolizing enzyme activities, can lead to requirements for study prolongation to include F1 reproduction and F2 generation investigations.
Considerable experience is required to assess the impact of effects in reproduction studies. When you choose to place your studies with the Citoxlab group, you will have centralized access to all the expertise and skills needed for testing the safety of your product.
Studies include :
- Screening tests (OECD 421, OECD 422)
- Extended single generation (OECD 443)
- One and two generation (OECD 415, OECD 416, EPA OPPTS 870.3800)
